<link>http://repositorio.jesuita.org.br/handle/UNISINOS/13664</link>
Roveda, Angela Beatriz
Neighboring Sounds (2012) is a film written and directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho, a film critic and filmmaker from Pernambuco. The film, his first feature-length fiction, brings up recurring themes from his filmography, such as real estate speculation, memory (of people and places, personal and collective), violence and insecurity in urban spaces. Kleber Mendonça's film makes reference to two works by Gilberto Freyre, The Masters and the Slaves and The Mansions and the Shanties. In this way, the director proposes an updating of the themes and structures addressed by Freyre: the slave owner's house, the senzala and the mill. The aim here is to understand how the unease present throughout the film's narrative, both visually and sound-wise, evokes the opacity and veiled racism present in contemporary Brazilian society. To this end, the research's theoretical foundation is based on three authors and their concepts: Gilbert Durand's Anthropological Imaginary; Jacques Derrida's Spectre and Fantology; and Gaston Bachelard's Poetic Space. The specific objectives are: to explore the concepts of the imaginary, spectrality and poetic spaces, to address how Kleber Mendonça's work fits into the tradition of modern Brazilian cinema and represents violence, analyzing the film based on its frames, shots, scenes, soundtrack etc. This research is justified by the curiosity to explore fear and terror in Brazilian cinema and the desire to know and understand part of the country's cultural, social, economic and historical roots through one of its cinematographic works. The research methodology is divided into two parts: bibliographical exploration and film analysis.

Ferri, Gabriel Manzoni
In this final project, we conducted research in the proceedings of the Intercom's Research Group on games with the aim of building an overview of the study of platforms and platformization of digital games in Brazilian academia. We based our study on definitions by authors such as Nieborg, Poell, Van Dijck, Chia, Keogh, Leorke, Nicoll, Gillespie, and D’Andrea, to develop an accurate panorama of what platformization is and how it occurs in video games, from production to distribution, including how games themselves can become platforms. Within the Research Group on games, 210 papers have been accepted between 2016 and 2023, with only 6 addressing platformization issues, meaning less than 3% of papers over eight years at Intercom discuss this theme. Based on our study of these authors, we grouped the approaches to platformization in various ways each study tackled its object of study. Thus, we divided them into "Games as Base," "Datafied Games," "Monetization and Distribution of Games," and "Games as Platforms of Discourse". We concluded that research on platformization is still in its infancy in Brazil, but all share the core of platformization studied by Nieborg.

Gibk, Marina Schmitz
The ever-growing degradation of the plants' kingdom at the urban environment plus the acknowledgement of the role of design in potentially intensifying the Anthropocene’s crisis are the embryo of the present study, which aims at speculatively designing for trees - more-than-human actors - in order to provoke the perception of our interdependence in this scenario. It breeds strategic design methodologies with speculative design practices, in order to identify preferable characteristics to design for trees, understanding how to design new metaphors for perceiving interdependence so human can generate alternatives for detouring and managing the crisis; learning how to respect the particularities of nature's language, in a way that does not anthropomorphize what it is of each being; encouraging the understanding of the current's scenario emergence state. The metaproject development assumes experimental practices as study premises, using prototype co-creation, debates and other practices which transgress the traditional ways of designing. The change of perspective towards trees had as a result in design the development of a product line of five critical-speculative artifacts centered on more-than-human interests. The brand and its products aim to provoke human critical questioning about the future and the interdependence of species on the planet.

The work presented here has the goal to deepen the knowledge around today’s IT (Information Technology) market, the reason for its notable deficit of workforce, and how it can impact the future of the work market. Identifying the superior education and its yet not fully democratic ingress as the key point of this problem, it’s been proposed the implementation of a system which, using the strategic design method and the co-design practice, looks for sustainable futures for the market, as well for the professional.

<link>http://repositorio.jesuita.org.br/handle/UNISINOS/13283</link>
Saint'Pierre, Isabelle Nedel Sibemberg
Breast cancer is the second most common type of oncological disease in Brazil, only staying behind skin cancer, and is also the one that causes the most cancer deaths in women (INCA, 2023). Many women with early-stage breast cancer may undergo breast-conserving surgery or a mastectomy to remove the tumor1. The main advantage of the conservative surgery is that it keeps most of the breast, but in some cases, due to the advancement of the tumor, it is necessary to have a mastectomy, with the complete removal of the breast. Such surgery has major impacts on the patient's life, and one of the main ones is the relation with their own image and feminine aspects, as the breast is an organ that "is related to femininity, pleasure, sensuality, gender difference, sexuality, in addition to being intensely linked to motherhood, as it is a source of food for the baby". (RAMOS; LUSTOSA, 2009, pg.86). Given this reality, it is initially observed that one of the existent services for assisting these women who are dealing with this loss is implemented through a tattoo technique, the "areola reconstruction tattoo", a type of tattoo that “paints” the breast of the patient to realistically reproduce the areola after mastectomy surgery to remove the cancer. The procedure serves as a solution to recover the self-esteem of women around the world. Taking this service as a reference, which can stimulate and transform women who go through this situation, it is intended to use the strategic design methodology to assist in the design of a product-service system, developed to facilitate access for those oncology patients to different professionals and/or services, aiming to rebuild their self-esteem.

Castro, Bianca
The internet brought significant advances to people's lives, directly impacting consumer behavior and demanding that traditional companies change their focus, starting to consider not only profitability, but also customer satisfaction. In this context of transformation, fintechs emerged, such as Nubank, which stand out for understanding the new demands. It should be noted that the term fintech refers to companies that offer financial products or services using the ease generated by technology, especially the internet, revolutionizing the financial market. Thus, this research is justified by the interest in knowledge about an increasingly important subject: the relationship with the customer. This study aims to analyze the strategies adopted by Nubank to establish a relationship with customers and achieve the desired results, impacting their loyalty. To achieve the objective, two methodologies were employed: a bibliographical review, which was based on the argument and discussion of the theme through previous research, and a case study with Nubank customers. Data collection was carried out through seven in-depth interviews with Nubank customers, who use the institution's application. Open questions allowed respondents to freely express their opinions on the subject. The analyzes were inspired by ten heuristics by Nielsen (2007), which highlight the importance of elements such as less bureaucracy, personalized service to customer needs and ease of access to available features, in order to delight the customer. From the collected perceptions, it is evident that this fintech has its practices based on simplifying and reducing bureaucracy of processes, offering the best possible service, a practice that generates satisfied customers who, consequently, become increasingly loyal to this institution. From an academic point of view, this study can help students or professionals already working in the field of Public Relations to be able to take advantage of the market situation, while for fintechs it makes it possible to understand the customer and their needs, expectations and opinions, generating a differential for the competitive market of banking institutions.

Politics are present in everyday living, through positions, opinions and problems that affect the lives of all people. A lot is said about polarization, but little is said about the poles of this polarization in the public sphere: politics, day to day, isn’t usually meaningful to us in its full depth. This research looks to explore the political meanings about black radicalism constructed through the characters of T’Challa and N’Jadaka (Killmonger) in the film Black Panther (2018), seeking to relate the positions expressed by these characters with the political, historical, and social contexts that give them meaning. To accomplish this, the research is based on Discourse Analysis through the perspective of Eni Orlandi, seeking to conceptualize the way in which meanings are created, how language makes meaning to us through the mechanism of ideology in the process of discourse. Understanding the particular quality of discourse in the language of cinema, the research brings the contributions of Vanoye and Goliot-Lété about film analysis and the concepts of Vanegas about semiotic analysis of film, to set out a way to detach the symbolic and cinematographic content of the text, in order to then reconstitute it as a whole in contact with the extra filmic discoursive formations that give it meaning. From these bases comes the construction of an analytic apparatus, seeking to contextualize the history of colonialism through Rodney, the history and political philosophies of liberalism and radicalism through Losurdo, and the philosophies of black revolutionaries through anthologies of their writings organized by Manoel and Landi. To these fundamental readings, a lot of smaller articles about specific themes are added, with the objective to put positions of the liberal and radical fields about these questions on debate. The research uses these contexts to unfold the political meanings that emerge in the analysis of the filmic discourse, revealing displacements, erasures, and substitutions in the path between interdiscourse and the text as it shows itself to be. At the end, it is concluded that Black Panther fundamentally brings up, though in a measured manner, meanings about the ailments of the colonial process, problems still sustained by hegemonic liberal capitalism, but it offers little space for a radical alternative as a solution for these problems. The film constructs in N’Jadaka an undesirable totalitarian figure and favors the reformist alternative of T’Challa, but at the same time creates an opening in the discourse by being sympathetic to the pain of the radical leader.

Ponzi, Rafaela Godoy
The proposed work starts from cultural changes and how they influence &#13;
communication. The study aims to briefly discuss the female representation within &#13;
femvertising, an alternative marketing tool, drawing a parallel between communication &#13;
and the fashion system. In doing so, we seek to identify how the interaction between &#13;
customers and jeans brands specialized in jeans occurs, emphasizing &#13;
representativeness as a key pillar of communication, aiming for an authentic &#13;
representation of real women. Therefore, the general objective is to create and &#13;
produce a collection following the model of Decade Studio, a brand that has a unique &#13;
modeling system and aims for the inclusion of real women in its communications, &#13;
through an analysis of the brand, its communication, and the potential Brazilian &#13;
consumer audience.

Palma, Marina Klaus
The use of 3D digital tools for garment construction has grown in the fashion industry recently. Pattern construction is the stage during the development of a fashion collection where ideas take shape and 3D digital tools dedicated to the fashion industry intend to help materialize these ideas. Given this, this study aims to investigate how 3D modeling programs can help in the construction of a customizable modular product. For that, researches were carried out on the basic knowledge necessary for the construction of a garment, what are the main 3D programs available for garment construction right now, and how they work, lastly, we sought to understand what are the concepts related to clothing customization. The research is complemented with a study on the Brazilian shoe brand Melissa, in order to achieve the general objective of this study: the development of a customizable and modular fashion project that uses the 3D program, CLO 3D, for the brand Melissa.

<link>http://repositorio.jesuita.org.br/handle/UNISINOS/13090</link>
Lopes, Guilherme Ferreira
The 20th century was marked by significant social movements such as feminism, hippie, punk, and LGBTQIA+, stimulating changes of behaviors and relationships and directly impacting clothing fashion. This led to the breaking of previously accepted parameters, such as the categorization of clothing by male and female gender. These transformations are driven by the adherence of groups with representation and media expression, as seen with national and international artists. In this context, this research aimed to conduct a basic study on how LGBTQIA+ culture contributes to the deconstruction of gender duality parameters in clothing fashion. The specific objectives were defined to carry out a bibliographic review of the trajectory of men's and women's fashion in the 20th and 21st centuries, contextualizing the LGBTQIA+ population in this scenario as agents who absorb and reflect the impacts of these fashion transformations. It evaluated how representatives of LGBTQIA+ culture contribute to the deconstruction of gender duality parameters in fashion, ultimately resulting in the creation of a collection inspired by this influence and proposing new parameters for fashion. The methodology used was descriptive qualitative, based on a bibliographic and documentary review, culminating in the application of the collection project development. Upon completing this work, it can be observed that fashion undergoes periodic transformations generated by social and cultural movements, seeking to express society's characteristics. Currently, there is a trend towards the development of a more democratic fashion that is free from labels and unfounded prejudices. The final result was the creation of an innovative fashion collection that transcends gender duality, allowing the presented clothes to be worn by anyone who feels affinity with the concept and the developed looks.

<link>http://repositorio.jesuita.org.br/handle/UNISINOS/13089</link>
Taraciuk, Yuri Rezende
This research examines the place of Fashion between the fields of art and design, to propose an original design practice based on the relationships between these three areas. Through a critical analysis of the Fashion system and the place of its discourse in contemporary society, intrinsically linked to the hegemonic socio economic logic, we developed a creative method that takes its inspiration in the Dada movement and, in particular, the work of Marcel Duchamp. Under the influence of Dada, strategic design tools were reinterpreted for the execution of this project, materialized in the form of a fashion collection, but which focuses on the design process itself, or, as we also call it, the gesture. Understood as a practice that exceeds the verbal and the writing language, the gesture is the productivity before the constituted sign, which helps us to contemplate a displacement from the product for the production of meaning, realized by the designer, presented here both as the one who projects, as well as the one who reads the message. In this way, the design process developed in this work seeks to oppose traditional fashion design methods, placing chance and absurdity as a means to break with such models and, consequently, with the social values they convey.

The present work approaches fashion as a memory maintenance mechanism, approaching the historical erasure of Armenian culture from the 1915 Armenian Genocide. The objective of this research is to develop a fashion collection that rescues elements of traditional Armenian clothing. For this, research was carried out on the functioning of memory and history, the development of the events that shaped the massacre and, finally, an analysis of the elements that make up traditional Armenian clothing, posthumously applied to the created collection. Furthermore, the study proposes to answer this problem: How can fashion contribute to a review of cultures historically erased from the Eurocentric narrative, using the 1915 Armenian Genocide episode as a reference? The general objective of this work is to develop a fashion project based on the understanding of the use of clothing as a vehicle for self-assertion of cultures erased by Eurocentric history. In this sense, the project seeks to review the elements of Armenian clothing prior to the 1915 genocide as a tool for historical appreciation.

<title>Neodandismo: manifestações contemporâneas na moda masculina</title>
<link>http://repositorio.jesuita.org.br/handle/UNISINOS/13087</link>
<description>Neodandismo: manifestações contemporâneas na moda masculina
Borges, Vinícius Medeiros
The neo-dandy style has its origins in the dandy style, which emerged in the 19th century through the figure of Beau Brummel. In this research, we will discuss how dandyism evolved, reinvented itself, and emerged into what we can consider, in this scope, the neo-dandy. Dandies emerged linked to the cult of the exceptional, valuing perfection in wear and sophistication in the way of life. Neo-dandyism, or contemporary dandyism, appears as an enhancement of the dandy characteristics in the present time. Thus, it is necessary to study the movement's origins for a better understanding of its relevance in contemporary menswear. In both cases, the focal point of men’s garments is the suit: the most attractive pieces are tailor-made, and those considered neo-dandies intend to stand out through their clothing. It is important to emphasize, however, that both forms of dandyism are not only limited to tailoring. They are lifestyles that can be defined by a daring behavior, which goes beyond physical appearance is their ethos. Thinking about these audiences and their needs, this research aimed to create the menswear brand Vanini, which seeks to develop collections for the modern man, with inspirations linked to design, art and architecture.

<title>A moda e o made in Italy: contribuições da moda italiana dos anos 1960 e 1970 para o cenário da moda contemporânea</title>

<description>A moda e o made in Italy: contribuições da moda italiana dos anos 1960 e 1970 para o cenário da moda contemporânea

<title>Jimi Hendrix: além da roupa</title>
<link>http://repositorio.jesuita.org.br/handle/UNISINOS/13085</link>
<description>Jimi Hendrix: além da roupa
Ceratti, Renata Denicol
This work aims to study the meanings behind the stage costume adopted by musician Jimi Hendrix in the 1960s. For this, the main cultural movements that occurred in the period were analyzed and, in some way, contributed to the construction of the Jimi persona on stage. Thus, it sought to demonstrate possible impacts that the environment causes on the choices made by the musician, although the musician was verbally positioned in a neutral way, oblivious to the various manifestations that permeated the culture in which he was inserted, as will be verified during the work. It should be emphasized, however, that this is a basic and exploratory research that does not intend or presumpt to explore in detail the choices of the musician, but rather to bring to the fore relevant information that contributes to the understanding of this universe that means to dress. Thus, we sought to analyze the connections between Jimi Hendrix's clothing and the 1960s, the meaning behind his choices in order to create a fashion brand capable of transmitting the main values brought by the musician with his stage costume, reflected in a clothing collection project for the same.

<link>http://repositorio.jesuita.org.br/handle/UNISINOS/13081</link>
With the electronic devices and Web 2.0 arrival came the biggest medias and social medias, which provided a wider interaction between producer (the press) and consumer (readers). In this paper, we analyze this interaction from comments made by readers-commentators of Twitter in pieces of news that inform feminicide cases. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to verify how users react while receiving this news. The corpus of the research is made up of 41 comments, which were selected from tweets of four pieces of news published on the microblog network Twitter, two of these are from the Folha de São Paulo’s newspaper and the other two are from Jornal O Globo. The methodology used is divided into quantitative and qualitative analysis; the quantitative analysis consists of collecting comments from the publication of the four pieces of news selected and classify their typology; the qualitative analysis corresponds to the comments content description and how the hyperlink integrates the user’s discourse. In this part of the reasearch, we consider the following studies: Paveau (2013; 2015; 2021;), with her contributions on technodiscourse, digital discourse and digital comment analysis; Araújo and Mattioli (2004), with their studies about inequality and violence against women; and Instituto Patricia Galvão (2017), with the perspective notions of gender and the feminicide concept. With the result of our analysis, we conclude that readers-commentators react to feminicide news to censor the crime or the journalistic practices. We observed that when they censor feminicide, the readers-commentators present three types of positions: (I) a disagreement review on the motive that caused the feminicide; (II) information about which are, or should be, the consequences to who committed the crime; and (III) the condolences to the families and the grief for the victim’s death. About the journalistic practices, the commentators-readers react showing their disagreement to the pictures used to illustrate the news or with the way the journalist informed the case.
