Abstract

The creation and implementation of Productive Systems based in modern techniques of Production Administration was first developed in the metal mechanic branch. The diffusion

of these concepts to the other branches of the industry was carried out in a second moment. The present dissertation wants to make clear that profits obtained with the implementation of these concepts can be carried out in an industry of thermal bottles from the plastic branch.

The methodology used in this work was the qualitative research, through a study of only one case. It was developed a method of work that allowed the researcher to raise, to

analyze and to select all the necessary information and to verify its adequacies based in the experience and knowledge.

A point to be detached is the necessity to make empirical studies aiming to compare conceptual models completely accepted in literature with its implementation in real
