O perfil dos profissionais das praças de alimentação: consequências nas corporações e a responsabilidade dos gestores

Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of social responsibility of manager towards their staff through a case study on the profile of people who work in food courts. The result of this survey shows us a situation little known: the difficulties and stress of workers who exercise their functions in this context. The main method used for the preparation of this monograph beyond of interviews in trade unions and people of the segment object of this study was the application of a questionnaire to 40 professionals working in a food court. The result obtained with the questionnaire was the apparent lack of social perspectives, cultural and professional backgrounds of these people. Several conclusions can be gained from this research, but the mains one is that companies should also responsible for personal and professional growth of this employees, because the misconduct and the poor qualification of them directly affect the organizations and the society in general.
